1 Month 1n America

As the tyres of the plane screeched to a halt on the runway of Logan International Airport (Boston, MA), I was mentally and physically exhausted. But not surprisingly, the novelty of seeing snow for the first time kept me wide awake. I was on cloud nine (more like snow heaps on the ground) as I posted a picture (below) on FB and IG before calling it a night.

okay

US in Bullet points

- the food comes in a portion that is big enough for two adults to eat and suffer a stomach ache due to over-eating
- people strolling down the streets randomly shout profanities and sometimes it scares the heck out of you
- the places are exactly the way hollywood movies portray them : the classic country look facing a beautiful lake, the buildings that spiderman jumps from one to another, the way people dress up from their 👠 to the 🎩 they wear, etc.
- every night, right after 10 or 11 pm, cartoon network airs adult-themed cartoons, which is  😏
- the pedestrians are given priority in cities as they have their own walk path and all traffic lights accommodate them.
- it's no joke when America is called the land of freedom as they can even openly protest about circumcision.
- the people are very friendly in city areas, as they are not judgemental and quite contrary to the popular belief, first impression does not matter the most here.
- the legal drinking age here is 21 and they actually do check ID's if you ever get into a bar.
- boston city is so clean, that you can't find any stray dogs or cats but you're bound to come across many squirrels and if you're lucky maybe a few rabbits.
- tipping the restaurant workers is a must, as it's a norm there.

In general, US has it's good and bad just like any other country, even Malaysia :D
